Transfer News: Arsene Wenger Left on the balance

18 June 2016
Both Jamie Vardy and Morata have netted brilliant goals for their countries on Thursday games in Euro 2016,
According to report from Getsportnews,The situation has left Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger on a blink of an eye on which player among the two he should sign in this transfer window to ensure that his club ends trophy droughts next season.

Leicester City star Jamie Vardy demonstrated his quality once again on Thursday as he scored the equaliser for England in the 2-1 win over Wales after coming from the bench at half-time.
It was Vardy's fourth England goal in five matches and continued his brilliant domestic form, with his 24 Premier League goals spearheading Leicester's Premier League title triumph.

On the other side of a coin Alvaro Morata has leapt to the top of the scoring charts with a brace in his team’s comprehensive victory over Turkey, which also saw Celta Vigo forward Nolito get onto the scoresheet with a well-taken effort.

Álvaro Morata has now scored 4 goals in 11 games for spain.
Goals have always been Morata’s problem. His game intelligence, movement, mental attitude and ability to link the play have never been questioned, but a moderate scoring record (just seven goals in 34 league games for Juventus this season) allowed doubts to linger and saw Del Bosque experiment with several options before settling upon the 23 year-old.

Arsenal are in need of a striker, as they look to rectify the problems that Arsene Wenger faced in the previous campaign. Though many players have been linked with the Gunners, the French manager has been considering either signing England international Jamie Vardy or Spaniard Alvaro Morata, as perreports. Despite all the claims, it is still not certain which player might move to the Emirates this summer, as a deal has not been completed yet for either of them.
The north London outfit was looking to make a positive start to the new campaign and in order to do that, they need to fortify various positions in the squad.
The attack has been a major issue as well, with Olivier Giroud failing to handle the pressure alone and none of the other strikers are helping him much with the responsibility of scoring goals due to various reasons including poor form and injuries.Due to this, Wenger is looking to sign either one of the players, if not both. If he fails to sign both, he might look for other options as well. However, the question now remains who will be the better player?? Will it be Vardy or will it be Morata??  Let’s compare!!
29-year-old Vardy scored 24 goals to help his side lift the Premier League title in the previous campaign. Further, he claimed a total of 6 assists, along with that as well and was a threat for every opposition that the Foxes faced. The former Fleetwood Town man also scored a few goals on international duty, more recently against Wales in the Euros, and looked impressive in every game he played.
Vardy is quite hardworking and has made a lot of runs, both on and off the ball. He has pushed hard at times and has good control on the ball. Apart from that, his finishing and composure are amazing as well. He would be a perfect signing for the Gunners, if the deal does go through.

He could probably replicate Robin van Persie from his last season in north London, prior to his departure to Manchester United. The Dutchman was the highest scorer in the top flight of English football, that term, though Arsenal still failed to win the league. Sir Alex effectively sealed the title when he signed van Persie.
Morata, on the other hand, is a talented star, who is still just 23 years old and already has the experience of playing for Real Madrid and Juventus. Despite that, he was not a regular at Turin and due to that, his form dipped at times.
The star striker was given just 23 starts in the previous campaign and another additional 20 appearances off the bench in Serie A. He passing ability and dribbling are surely his plus points and Morata falls back to help out his defensive line as well, which is seriously a major plus point for any striker these days.
He helps set up chances for his team-mates as well, with his creative ability, though his finishing is still something that needs to improve and can possibly with time. However, if asked which player would be preferred for Arsenal, it would surely be Leicester’s Vardy.
