Ricardo Carvalho enjoyed success with Jose Mourinho at Chelsea
The Portuguese boss signed a three-year deal to replace Louis van Gaal last month.
Carvalho has won trophies under Mourinho at three different clubs, including Chelsea.
And he admits it will be hard for himself and the Chelsea fans to see him in charge of the Red Devils.
He said: “I played for Chelsea and still have pride in the club, so I didn't want to see Jose at United. No one at Chelsea did.
“He is our Special One and I'm sure he will always have pride in Chelsea.
"But, of course, he is a professional coach and has to go to work.
